Enjoy music from the song books of Cole Porter, Gershwin, Jerry Herman, Lerner and Lowe, Rogers and Hammerstein and more. I’ll be wearing sequins and hope you will too!
Dangerous Animals Club. A Memoir by Dallas Actor and SMU grad Stephen Tobolowsky.
This book is a fun, poignant, hilarious look at life, art, spirituality and coming of age in Dallas in the sixties. Tobolowsky also recalls his success as a character actor on TV (GLEE, DEADWOOD) and in films like “Groundhog Day,” “Thelma and Louise” and “Mississippi Burning.” Steve, or Tobo was an SMU classmate of Jill’s and long time boyfriend of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Beth Henley. (CRIMES OF THE HEART) There is a special connection for Jill as she is mentioned in the book in recollections of their days at SMU and in Dallas Theater endeavors after graduation!
