ABOUT THE BACKWARDS SERIES
Although The Backwards Series are exciting and entertaining books for young and old alike, the true excitement is in the unique way that the books are printed. As a reminder of the everyday troubles of a dyslexic, The Glass Tears... Mystic Pool... and Curse of the Stolen Cross... are printed backwards, with the last page being the first. The books will not be annoying or difficult to read. They are meant to be a simple reminder that dyslexics must think twice before doing anything. Something as basic as turning a page may go against their natural inclination to do the opposite.
The Backwards Series has already received much support from editors and teachers. They've said they would love to have the book on their student reading list.
The Glass Tears is the first book in a series of intergenerational fiction stories. It is about the summer adventures of four boys growing up in the small town of Smithville, Texas. The main character, Ben, has dyslexia, and the book touches on the hardships of such a learning disability while remaining humorous and entertaining. The book begins as the boys decide to reveal the town recluse (whom they think cries glass tears) as a witch. Ben soon discovers that he shares a secret with a lonely woman. By the end of the book, the reader is attached to the characters and in love with Miss Maggie, the lonely woman.

"Ladies this makes a wonderful read for book clubs!"
Test Driving Men is for anyone who became a princess on prom night, then gave her heart to a real loser...for any woman who has laughed and cried at the same time. But mostly it’s for every woman who refers to all her friends as her very best friend. The Baker Street Girls forged friendships early. Five little stargazers witnessed a startling event, and a gift from the universe changed their lives forever. Test Driving Men will make you want to call a girlfriend and giggle over a glass of expensive wine. After all, aren't they worth it? |

Author, Ramona Tipton, is a serious and diverse writer. She will keep you entertained with tales from the topsy-turvy, upside-down, loop-de-loop, imaginary world, in which she dwells daily. The author suffers with dyslexia and is still very hyper-active. Even as a child she felt different. She struggled to barely finish high school, but has thrived as a storyteller. Thanks to Spell Check and proof-readers, she has mastered the art of spinning a yarn.

She has already written two other books which are as unique and different as she is. One is in the genre of science-fiction for an adult audience entitled, Secret Keepers Legacy. It explains why some humans have dyslexia and others don't. It is a thrilling account of the migration of an entire planet of people. Did you ever feel like you were different? Read Secret Keeper's Legacy, coming soon, and dare to discover the truth about your neighbor or maybe even yourself. |
