Dr. Lurline Morrow

    Lurline began her second career as a reviewer following a 30 year career with Delta Airlines.  From Jackson Hole, WY to Dallas, TX, and points in between, she has been entertaining her audiences with biographies of people and families whose names we all know, but know little about.  Her subjects have included Gucci, Chanel, Vanderbilt, and Hershey.  In her third year, she was awarded "Best Book Reviewer" by the Dallas Observer in their "Best of Dallas" issue. 

      In addition to book reviews, Dr. Morrow offers a program which has been designed to teach her audiences the joyful pursuit of creating art from gourds! A gourd can be crafted and painted to be a home for the birds, a basket, mask, a hanging planter, or an object d'art! This program provides complete instructions! During the summer, Lurline offers private classes in her home studio.

     Lurline is a graduate of The University of Texas and the Perkins School of Theology at S.M.U.  Those studies led to the development of a children's art program benefiting Parkland Hospital, Prayers From the Inside, a project for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and workshops which teach the basics of Crisis Management.
