Kathleen Cunningham is the Director of the Dallas Arboretum’s Speakers Bureau.   As a professional speaker, and former Assistant Vice President of the Texas Credit Union League, she has delivered presentations all across Texas.  She started at the Arboretum leading guided tours as a docent in the historic DeGolyer home on the Arboretum grounds.  She now serves on the Board of Directors and gives entertaining talks for the Speakers Bureau.  She would be delighted to schedule a presentation for your group.

The Dallas Arboretum, The Diamond in Dallas

One of the most magnificent botanical gardens in the nation-- a visual banquet ablaze in color year-round. The beautiful gardens and lush lawns on the shores of White Rock Lake are photographically presented as Kathleen describes the history of the gardens and the DeGolyer home, along with current events that make the Arboretum an ever-changing place to visit and enjoy.

The Woman’s Garden at the Dallas Arboretum

The Woman's Garden fulfilled the dream of the Women's Council to create a garden that would celebrate the essence and spirit of women. This photographic program shows highlights from the distinct individual gardens within the Woman’s Garden.  Each garden showcases unique qualities of women. The gardens also display an outstanding collection of outdoor sculpture.  This program includes the garden’s latest addition, Phase II, a lush grotto that balances and harmonizes with the architectural features of Phase I.

Ballroom Dancing— The Inside Story

Kathleen and her husband, Randy, present a lively program that explains the history and development of ballroom dancing in which they distinguish the different styles and tempos of the dances that you see on  Dancing With The Stars.   Throughout the talk, they demonstrate the dances to recorded music, and they give tips on how to improve your own social dancing.

Kathleen and her husband are passionate ballroom dancers who perform professionally around the Dallas area.  They are well known for their dramatic ballroom exhibitions.  You may have seen them dance as featured performers in the Dallas Christmas Festival staged by Prestonwood Baptist Church, or perhaps at the KAAM Radio New Year’s Eve gala or Valentines Ball.   Kathleen & Randy, as they are known professionally, have danced together for 18 years and have competed nationally.  They now perform their ballroom exhibitions at banquets, competitions and other commercial venues.  They also are available to perform a floor show at your next event.
